Our History
My mother's family settled in Sandwich in the 1850s. Born and raised in Sandwich, I have lived here all my life. Raising my family with my wife, Sharon, we opened our ambulance service in 1982 being Sandwich's only Paramedic Ambulance Service. Then I went on to Mortuary School and opened Beverage Family Funeral Home. Sharon was once a Paramedic with our Ambulance Service and then later become a nurse. In 2005, Sharon and I purchased the Lyons-Cluts-Simes Funeral Homes in Rochelle and Ashton which is now known as the Beverage-Lyons Family Funeral Homes. Our son, Andrew, graduated from Mortuary School in 2016 and will continue on as 2nd generation. We want to provide the most personalized and affordable services to everyone and we treat everyone as if they're also an extension of our family.
