William (Bill) Ellis Johns

William(Bill) Ellis Johns, Jr, 58 years old, of Sandwich, IL passed away peacefully Monday March 30th, 2020. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and nephew. He was the son of William "Ellis" Johns Sr. and Nan Johnson(Johns),born on March 16th, 1962. Bill loved his country and served in the Army Reserve. He loved bowling, golfing and making memories with his loved ones. He enjoyed his Budlight, Jack Honey, Toby Keith and John Wayne. He served on the board of Directors and CMGA at Cedardell Golf Course. He was a past member of the Sandwich Moose and Cedardell Golf Club. He knew how to light up the whole room just by walking in, he truly was a free spirited man who lived his life to the fullest.

He is survived by his wife Cindy, three children, Billy,Daryl and Danielle Johns and one grandbaby Brooklynn(babygirl), his mother Nan Johnson, brother Tommy(Kathy) Johns, sister Anna(Jerry) Campbell, in laws Karen(Charlie) Bohnstedt, in laws Ralph and Trudy Webb and many nieces, nephews, cousins, an uncle and aunts. 

Graveside services will be held on July 18, 2020 at 12:00 P.M. at Elmwood Cemetery, 599 W. Somonauk Street, Yorkville, IL. A luncheon will follow at the Plano American Legion, 510 E.
