Earl Clarence Janssen

Earl C. Janssen 74, of Sandwich passed away July 28, 2016 at Presence Mercy Center Aurora, IL He was born on December 24, 1941 in Sterling IL to the late Clarence and Dorothy ( Hains ) Janssen. He married Carol Conklen on February 18 1962 in Rockfalls, IL He and Carol started out in farming and later moved to Lena, IL were Earl got his start in the fertilizer business, moving to Sandwich raising their boys Earl worked and retired from Ag Tech in Sandwich, IL in 2011. Earl loved to hunt deer, pheasants, duck and even hunted bear a couple of times. He and Carol enjoyed to travel and especially Florida. One of Earls favorite pastimes was Classic Car show. Earl was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church Sandwich. He is survived by his loving wife Carol, Sons; Brad ( Kelly ) Janssen and Kent ( Diane ) Janssen all of Sandwich. Brother Howard ( Kay ) Janssen of Rockfalls, IL Grandchildren Kim, Kori, Adam ( Kristi ) , Lauren, Nichole , Morgan, Kaylin and Amanda. 1 great granddaughter Teagan. Memorial service will be held Sunday July 31, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Beverage Family Funeral Home 104 Terry St. Sandwich IL. with Rev. David Kaul officiating.
