Wanda I. Freeland

Wanda Irene Freeland, 67, of Sandwich, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by loved ones on November 15, 2025. Wanda was born April 20, 1958 in Sandwich, daughter of Jacqueline and Clarence Freeland.

Wanda was an employee at Sandwich Hospital for many years. After moving to Arizona in 2001, she continued her passion working at Banner Health in Mesa. After retirement in 2023, Wanda moved back home to be with family. Wanda enjoyed traveling with friends. She also loved spending time with family. 

Wanda is proceeded in death by her parents, Jacqueline and Clarence Freeland, Maternal and Paternal Grandparents, as well as many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Wanda is survived by her sister, Gena Bedford (Scott Michael) of Sandwich; A Brother, Robert (Misty) Freeland, of Henry, IL; Nephew, Jason Bedford of Mendota; Nieces, Amy Verda (Kent) of Earlville and Nichole Bubolz (John) of Sandwich; 3 Great-Nephews; 3 Great-Nieces; As well as many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins.

Wanda had 2 very special and dear friends, Jane Latham and Judy Shelton, along with Shirley who was a loving and caring neighbor to Wanda.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025 from 10:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. at Beverage Family Funeral Home, 104 Terry St. Sandwich, IL 60548.
