Walter F. Sass III

Walter F. Sass III, 74, of Sandwich, IL passed away on November 4, 2024. Walter was born on August 9, 1950 in Chicago, IL to Walter and Cynthia (Wilson) Sass Jr. Walter was a farmer most of his life and then later also became a truck driver.

Walter is survived by his wife, Cathy Sass; 1 step-son, Michael (Margaret) Severa; 1 granddaughter, Mikayla Severa; 1 sister, Marilyn (Larry) Kivikoski; As well as his dogs, Toby, Lucy and Hailey.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, John Sass.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 from 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. at Beverage Family Funeral Home, 104 Terry St. Sandwich, IL 60548. A funeral service will begin immediately afterwards at 12:00 P.M. with a burial to follow out to Oak Mound Cemetery in Somonauk, IL.
