Vivian McMaster

Vivian McMaster, 92, of Sandwich, IL passed away on October 7, 2022. Vivian was born on May 27, 1930 in Sandwich, IL to Louis and Ella (Whitney) Mall. Vivian was a life member of the United Church of Sandwich. During her time residing in Prophetstown, IL she received many awards for her work at the Prophetstown United Methodist Church. She loved quilting, she would make beautiful quilts for family and charity raffles. Vivian also made delicious homemade meals and fudge. She was also ab avid collector of all things butterflies.

Vivian is survived by 2 children, Richard (Emma) McMaster and Mark (Tracy) McMaster; 2 Daughters-in-law, Karen McMaster and Janet McMaster; Son-in-law, Gary Scragg; 144 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; As well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Her husband, James McMaster, Sr.; 3 Children, Stephen McMaster, Mary Lou Scragg and Jimmy McMaster; Siblings, Louella Waite, Izetta Hanson, Margaret Reinhart, Verian Cassell, Charles Mall and Franklin Mall.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 14, 2022 from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. at Beverage Family Funeral Home, 104 Terry St. Sandwich, IL 60548. Funeral service will be held next day, Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. with an hour visitation preceding from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M. at the United Church of Sandwich, 512 Lions Rd. Sandwich, IL 60548. Graveside services will follow out to Oak Ridge Cemetery in Sandwich. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Beverage Family Funeral Home.
