Victor P. Mauhar, Jr.

Victor Phillip Mauhar, Jr., 58, of Sandwich, IL passed away on December 22, 2021. Victor was born on August 17, 1963 in Chicago, IL. Victor spent 11 years in the Navy, where he was a weapons expert in a Nuclear Submarine. Once he left the service, he was working computer service.  He worked in Internet Security for Palo Alto out of California.

He loved music and singing and he played bass guitar in a band. He also loved cars and Harley Davidson motorcycles and enjoyed riding with his friends. He also enjoyed sport shooting.

Victor is survived by his significant other, Lisa Flyte; Mother, Patricia (Chas) Dietl of Los Angeles, CA; 2 children, Suzanne (Daniel) Mortenson and Kevin Schuman; 2 grandchildren, Koralina and Lily-Amelia; As well as 2 brothers, Bill and Mike Mauhar.

He is preceded in death by his father, Victor Mauhar, Sr., and 2 brothers, Joe and Tim Mauhar.

Memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M. at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 2465 W. Sandwich Rd. Sandwich, IL 60548. Memorial service will be held next day, Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 10:30 A.M. at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Beverage Family Funeral Home.
