Victor T. Christopherson

Victor T. Christopherson, 65, of Somonauk, IL passed away on December 25, 2020. Victor was born on June 13, 1955 in Aurora, IL to Melvin and Rose (Johnson) Christopherson. He graduated from Sandwich High School in the class of 1973 and graduated from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, music, stock-trading and playing cards. He loved spending time with his grandkids and was an avid sports fan of the Illini, Blackhawks, Bears and Cubs.

Victor is survived by his wife, Kimberly; His mother, Rose of Millington, IL; 4 step-children, Stephen (Jennifer) Hopkins of Somonauk, IL, Matthew (Stephanie) Hopkins of Somonauk, IL, Michael (Megan) Hopkins of Newark, IL and Kathryn Hopkins of Newark, IL; 1 sister, Krista (Anthony) Torres of Sheridan, IL; As well as 8 grandchildren, Aiden, Owen, Scarlett, Emmett, Sophia, Lucy, Henry and Josephine.

He is preceded in death by his father, Melvin.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.

There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
