Timothy G. Meyer

Timothy G. Meyer, 64, of Plano, IL passed away on June 9, 2023. Timothy was born on November 29, 1958 in Aurora, IL .

In his younger years, he was a member of the Fox Valley Raiders Drum and Bugle Corps and during his adult life he went on to become a member of the Royal-Airs Drum and Bugle Corps. He’s been an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous since 1985 and had a strong 39 years of sobriety and would have made 40 years this November. Recently retired, he really started to enjoy fishing, feeding the birds and riding his motorcycle.

Timothy is survived by his wife, Lori Ann Meyer; 2 sisters, JoAnn (Dave) Nelson of Marseilles, IL and Lori Dennis of Sandwich, IL; 2 brothers, Richard A. (Linda) Meyer of Sandwich, IL and Toby G.( Becky) Meyer of Sandwich, IL; 2 sisters-in-law, Giesela (Al) Popova and Rosemary (Kert) Brown; Nephews, Charles (Nate) Nelson and Al Popova; Nieces, Amy (Brad) Figenbaum, Stephanie (Brandon) Haish, Ashley (Tony) Dennis, Sarah (Cris) Amezquita, Aimee Popova and Linda (Dan) Brown; Great nephews, Dakota Figenbaum, Levi Figenbaum, Colter Figenbaum, Grayson Dennis and Teddy Strombach; Great niece, Kilah Figenbaum; As well as many other cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents Gorden and Delores (Cordas) Meyer and brothers-in-law, Dave Nelson and Al Popova.

A celebration of life will be held August 12th 2023 from 2- 6 p.m. at the Sandwich VFW 1713 S Main Street Sandwich IL . Arrangements were entrusted to Beverage Family Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at www.beveragefamilyfh.com
