Thomas T. Ciciora-KA9QPN/SK , 66, of Sandwich, IL passed away on November 18, 2023 in Elk Grove Village, IL. Tom was born on March 16, 1957 in Calumet City, IL to Thomas Sr. and Theresa (Roski) Ciciora.
Tom worked at Kaeser Compressors for 5 years. He was involved in the youth education at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Sandwich, being a Confirmation Moderator and instructor of their youth. He was also a director for the Sandwich Emergency Management Agency, former EDSA of Calumet City, IL and a member of multiple amateur radio clubs.
Tom is survived by his children, Thomas T. (Erin Palm) Ciciora, Theodore (Angela) Ciciora and Carmella (Michael) Rowley; Siblings, Debbie, Terry, Tony and their families; Grandchildren, Tommy, Bailey, Mikey, Monica, Edward, Hunter and Alessandra; As well as several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Brother, Tim; And a granddaughter, Seraphina Marie.
The family wishes to extend their sincerest thanks to the Critical Care Team at Ascension Alexian Brothers Medical Center, St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, Sandwich Emergency Management Agency and all of his friends, coworkers and all that knew and loved Tom.
Memorial visitation will be held on Friday, December 8, 2023 from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Beverage Family Funeral Home, 104 Terry St. Sandwich, IL 60548. A Memorial Mass will be held next day, Saturday, December 9, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 340 W. Arnold St. Sandwich, IL 60548. A graveside service will follow out to St. Paul Catholic Cemetery in Sandwich, IL.
For those who wish to attend the visitation on Friday, please feel free to share any memories or stories. As most know, Tom was a very simple man so please feel free to dress casually if you wish as well.
