Shirley S Schatteman

Shirley S Schatteman, 93, of Ashton, IL passed away at home on November 14, 2018. She was born on August 11, 1925 in Moline, IL to Charles and Laura (Davis) Stone. She married her late husband, Lawrence Schatteman, on August 3, 2003. She loved playing bingo, mingling with friends and heading over to the Riverboat when she had the chance.

Shirley is survived by 9 children, Jimmy (Barb) Stone of Sherrard, IL, Larisa Currens (Dale Fuller) of Ashton, IL, Daryl of Nebraska, Shawn of Texas, Jan of Geneseo, IL, Tina Thacker of Florida, Lila Dorr (Larry) of North Carolina, Lauretta (Herman) Miranda of Bloomington, IL and Rinda (Mark) Popovich of Florida; She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by both parents; her spouse, Lawrence Schatteman; 2 children, Christine and Brian; 4 sisters, Ruth, Lois, Nina and Eunice; as well as 2 brothers, Bill and Bud.
