Shirley Lavon Ming

Shirley Lavon Ming, 82, of Sheridan, IL. passed away at home on December 21, 2018. She was born December 31, 1935 to Lloyd and Dorothy (White) Snyder. She went to Naperville Central High School. She worked for Standard Grigsby and Lyon Metal. She was a very hard worker and enjoyed family, as well as playing bingo.

Shirley is survived by 2 children, Dennis Argo of Montgomery, IL and Leslie Downard of Sheridan, IL; 1 brother, Ralph (Butch) Snyder; 1 sister, Mary Lou Etheridge of Yorkville, IL; 5 grandchildren, Michael, David, Adam, Steven and Shawn; as well as 3 great grandchildren, Ethan, Miss Ava and Mister Axel.

She is preceded in death by both of her parents; 1 brother, Sonny (Lloyd) Snyder; and 1 daughter-in-law, Barbara Argo.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 28, 2018 at 12:00 P.M. at Beverage Family Funeral Home, 104 Terry St., Sandwich, IL 60548. Visitation will be held prior from 10:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. Graveside to follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Sandwich, IL.
