Scott W. Towne

Scott W. Towne, 45 of Millington, IL passed away on October 28, 2026 after a brief battle with gastric cancer. Scott was born in Aurora, IL on September 07,1981 to Doug and Glenda (Leifheit) Towne. He graduated from Sandwich High School in 1999. He married the love of his life, Denise Hernandez on July 20, 2002 in Plano, IL. They spent the next 24 years inseparable as best friends and soulmates.

He worked at Pomp’s Tire in Montgomery as a service manager for 25 years. He enjoyed watching the White Sox and the Bears regardless of whether they won or lost. He loved live music and attended many concerts throughout his life. He loved to provide meals for all of his family and friends whether on the grill or smoker. Most of all, he was a devoted family man who was happiest spending time at home with his wife and two children.

His absence will be deeply felt by his wife Denise, and his two children Lucia and Violet Towne, as well as his father, Doug, his brother Steven, and his sister Brandy along with many other beloved family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his aunt, Denise, his grandmas June and Mary, his mother Glenda, and his grandpas Glenn and David.

A celebration of life will be held on November 22, 2026 at the FVOAS 1406 Suydam Rd. Sandwich IL from 1:00pm -3:00pm.
