Sandra Yvonne Bunch

Sandra Yvonne Bunch, 65, of Sandwich, IL passed away on August 12, 2020. Sandra was born on January 17, 1955 in Phoenix City, Alabama. She worked for 24 years as a paraprofessional for Sandwich School District 430.  She truly cared about and loved working with all the students, especially the 5th graders. They knew her as “Mrs. Bunch”. She enjoyed cooking and grilling out, as well as watching mysteries on T.V. She loved being outdoors, going to car shows and traveling to Mexico and Las Vegas, but mostly loved going to her family gatherings and being with her family. 

Sandra is survived by her husband, Ray; 1 daughter, Yvonne (Chad) Kedzierski; 7 siblings, Patrica (John) Porter of Clearwater, FL, Linda Gengler of Pahrump, NV, Amanda Singleton of Newark, IL, Marvin Blackwell of Somonauk, IL, Brenda Moorehead of Somonauk, IL, Leora (Jeff) Williams of Sterling, IL and Harold (Kurt) Brand of Malta, IL; as well as 2 grandchildren, Allie and Sadie Diehl.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Shirley; 1 son, Christopher; 4 nieces and nephews, Alisha, Brandon, Lindsay and Neil; 2 brothers, Randy Shelton and Robert Brand; as well as 1 sister, Lori Dreps.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2020 from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. at Beverage Family Funeral Home, 104 Terry Street Sandwich, IL 60548. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Stevan Saunders officiating. Interment will follow out to Oak Ridge Cemetery in Sandwich.
