Ronald D. Wilcox, 73, of Downers Grove, IL passed away on December 5, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. Ronald was born on July 17, 1950 in Washburn, Wisconsin to Walter and Edith (Nettleton) Wilcox.

Ronald was an avid gardener and loved to golf when he could. He also loved spending time watching UFC fights.

Left to cherish his memory is his devoted wife, Linda Wilcox; 2 children, Laura Petryka of Dekalb, IL and Peggy (Jason) Miller of Cortland, IL; 3 step-children, Keith (Nicole) Cagle of McHenry, IL, Ryan Cagle of Romeoville, IL and Sarah Cagle of Rochelle, IL; Grandchildren, Courtney Wilcox, Sean (Brittany) Wilcox, Benjamin (Jessica) Petryka, Samantha (Willis) Yurs, Dominique (Ben) Wachuku, Tyler Kramer, Chris Nulle, Rayln Wilcox, Khloe Miller, Graison Wilcox, Chris Avilia, Savannah Cagle, and Emma, Leyna and Ethan Feeley; Great grandchildren, Carson, Adalynn, Mia, Oliver, Emersyn, Sophia, Zoey and Benny; 1 brother, Gary Wilcox; As well as his fur baby, Zoey.

He is preceded in death by his parents; 2 previous wives, Vickie and Kathy; 14 Siblings, Gerald, Raymond, Harold, Henry, Oren, Robert, Iva, Elmer, Lilly, Nancy, Keith, Donald, Judy and George; As well as an infant son, Ronald Charles.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024 from 9:30 - 10:30 A.M. at Christ Communion Church, 2350 Pride Ave, Dekalb, IL 60115. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 A.M. at the church.
