Ronald L. Larson

Ronald L. Larson 79, of Ashton, IL passed away February 25th 2018 at Franklin Grove Living and Rehab. He was born on September 18th 1938 in Walnut, IL. He married Marlene A. Kuffel on September 19th 1959 in Walton, IL. He was a member of the Ashton Lions Club, Ashton Business Boosters, He and Marlene owned Ron’s Food Market in Ashton for 46 years. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, hunting and fishing. He especially enjoyed his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Most of all he enjoyed serving the people of Ashton at Ron’s Food Market. He is survived by his Children Jeffrey (Susan) Larson and Vicki (Eddie) Essex all of Ashton. 4 grandchildren Patrick Larson of Chicago, Alyssa Larson of Ft. Myers, Michael Essex and Alisyn Essex both of Ashton and precious great grandchildren, Mason, Noah, Aubreigh and Bentley. He is preceded in death by his mother Awilda Blackburn his wife Marlene 7/11/2013. Funeral services will be held Saturday March 3, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Beverage Lyons FamilyFuneral Home 601 Richardson Ave. Ashton, Il with Rev. Farrel Stauffer officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. till the time of service. Interment to follow at Ashton Cemetery
