Ronald Aaron Hatton

Ronald Aaron Hatton, passed away unexpectedly July 14, 2022. He was born on June 8, 1955 in St. Louis. MO to Clarence (Willa) Hatton and Kathryn (Henley) Ford.

In his younger years, he worked at Barber Green in Aurora, IL. He spent the remainder of his work career at Precision Enterprises/ Amco Machine in Somonauk, IL until his retirement in 2016.

Ron’s enjoyment in life were watching his sons and grandsons play sports. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars, loved his Ford trucks, listening to his favorite country songs loud and proud, watching wrestling and Nascar, and loved being a prankster and getting good laughs out of them.

Ron also was an avid collector of beer steins and Eagle statues. He collected them for many years. They were acquired from garage sales, family and friends and are proudly displayed.

But his favorite enjoyment in life was spending time with family and friends. He was deeply loved and will be missed by all.

He married Karen (Houlne) on November 8, 1980. Together they have 3 sons, Karl (Kimberly) Hatton of Somonauk, David Hatton of Sandwich and Richard (Kelly) Hatton of Somonauk.

He was blessed with four grandsons, Kyle, Austin, Karter and Bryson. One great granddaughter, Brinley, as well as another great granddaughter on the way.

His siblings are brothers, Danny Hatton and Lance Ford; Sisters, Linda Ball, Rhonda Stuever, Sharon Samuel, Thelma DeBolt and Sylvia Burress.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Sister, Terry Stoens; Brother, Jackson Neeley; Nephews, Scott Stoens, Matthew Burress and Brian Burress.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 from 3:00 – 7:00 P.M. at Beverage Family Funeral Home, 104 Terry St. Sandwich, IL. Funeral service will be held next day, July 21, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Burial will follow out to Pratt’s Oaklawn Cemetery in Sandwich, IL. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Beverage Family Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at www.beveragefamilyfh.com
