Rodney Lynn Paul

Rodney Lynn Paul, 69, of Ashton, IL passed away peacefully at his brother Dan's home in Rochelle after a battle with cancer. Rodney was born on May 30th, 1955 in Rockford, IL to the late Robert L. and Louise E. (Nixon) Paul.

Rodney was a graduate of Ashton High School, class of 1973; he continued his education, obtaining an associate’s degree from Sauk Valley Community College.

Rodney had a love for his cats whom he treated as his family or children.

Rodney is survived by his sisters, Linda, Lola, Karen and Krissy; Brothers, Richard, Tim and Daniel; As well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. 

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Mike.

A visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M. on Friday, August 2nd, 2024 at Beverage-Lyons Family Funeral Home, 601 Richardson Ave Ashton, IL 61006. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 P.M. at Ashton Cemetery with Reverend Farrel Stauffer officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to Beverage-Lyons Family Funeral Home.
