Roberta Steging

Roberta Steging, 92, passed away at Willow Crest nursing home on November 19, 2021. Roberta was born on September 15, 1929 in Aurora, IL to Roy and Lillian (Harvey) Gramley. She was a lifetime member of the Wheatland United Presbyterian Church.  Roberta graduated from East Aurora High School. She worked for Aurora National Bank, Mooseheart and volunteered at Rush Copley.

Roberta leaves behind precious memories, her adopted brother and caregiver, Charles (June) Sanders Sr of Plano, IL; Two nieces, Heather Simmons of Norway, IL and Jennifer (Neric) Chitwood of Gardner IL; Two nephews, Charles (Teresa) Sanders Jr of Plano, IL and Bradly (Debbie) Ellis of Olathe, Kanas; as well as many loving great nieces and nephews and friend, Jackie. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis; Parents, Roy and Lillian; And a sister, Charlotte.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. at Wheatland Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Plainfield. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Beverage Family Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at www.beveragefamilyfh.com
