Robert (Bob) Henry Taylor

Robert Henry Taylor, 77, of Aurora passed away at Presence Mercy Center on January 31, 2019. He was born on April 26, 1941 to Henry and Pearl (Davis) Taylor in Sandwich, IL. He married Sharon Dilbeck on March 2, 1963 in Somonauk, IL and spent the next 55 years together until his passing.

He served his country with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War era.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon; his 2 children, Steve (Georgia) Taylor of Algood, TN. And Cheryl (Robert) Edwards of Sandwich, IL; his 2 sisters, Verna Serby of California and Mildred (Roger) Nelson of Arizona; his brother, Don (Debbie) Taylor of IL; his 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents. 3 sisters; Violet Swanstrom, Elaine Hilt and Betty Anderson

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at Beverage Family Funeral home from 10:00- 12:00 a.m. Funeral service to follow at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor David Kaul officiating. Burial to follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
