Rick W. Laurie

Rick W. Laurie 63, of Rochelle passed away July 30th, 2021 at Rochelle Community Hospital suddenly after becoming ill at work. Rick was a truck driver for many years and most recently worked for Rochelle Park District, He enjoyed fishing and golfing, mostly he enjoyed his family and grandchildren

He was born on December 14, 1957, in St. Charles, IL. He drove truck for most of his life, he spent most of his time with his family and soul mate Joann of 33 years.

He is survived by his mother Beatrice, his partner in life Joann Roberts of Rochelle, His children Ashley (Matt Robinson) Laurie of Rochelle and Matthew Laurie of DeKalb. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Bryley, Aubrey, Brayson Malone and Everly Robinson.   Sister’s; Leanne and Nancy  Brothers; Ronnie and Kenny.          

Memorial Service is being planned for September.
