Raymond A. Domrose

September 2, 1961 – October 15, 2026

Raymond A. Domrose, age 65, passed away on October 15, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Ray was a truly remarkable man with a heart of gold, a wonderful sense of humor, and an endless love for his family. A husband, father, father-in-law, proud grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many, Ray was the kind of person who would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need, never expecting anything in return. He treated everyone he met with kindness and respect, and his generosity and genuine nature left a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to know him.

Family was the center of Ray’s world. He was their biggest supporter, always cheering them on, celebrating their accomplishments, and reminding them just how proud he was of each and every one of them. No matter what life brought, his love, encouragement, and unwavering support were things his family could always count on.

A hardworking and dedicated man, Ray spent 25 years with DM Industries rebuilding printing presses, followed by 16 years with Area DuPage/Accurate Towing as a tow truck driver and dispatcher. He took pride in his work and the relationships he built along the way.

One of Ray’s greatest passions was racing. He loved competing in figure-8 truck races alongside his sons and cheering on his daughter as she competed in demolition derbies. Whether he was behind the wheel or watching from the sidelines, the racetrack held a special place in his heart. It was a place where he enjoyed spending time with his children and their spouses, sharing in the excitement and creating memories that would last a lifetime.

Outside of work and racing, Ray enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. He found happiness in life’s simple pleasures and treasured the moments spent surrounded by the people he loved most.

Ray will be remembered for far more than the years he lived. He will be remembered for his kindness, his humor, his generosity, and the unconditional love he gave so freely. He was someone his family could always depend on, someone who made others feel valued, and someone whose presence made life a little brighter.

Although his absence will be felt beyond words, the memories he created, the lessons he shared, and the love he gave will remain in the hearts of those who knew him forever.

Ray’s greatest legacy will always be the love he gave, the lives he touched, and the family he was so incredibly proud of.
