Ralph Harold Whitecotton

Ralph Harold Whitecotton 88 of Plano, IL. passed away October 18^th, 2018 at his home. He was born on July 31^st, 1930 in Ottawa IL. to the late Arnold and Lucille Whitecotton. Ralph served his country with the US. Marine Corp in the Philippine Islands from 1951-1953. He married his sweetheart Audrey Pauline on September 4^th, 1953 at the Oglesby Union Church Oglesby, IL. He is a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church of Sandwich, IL. Ralph spent 32 years at Federal Huber, last years as VP of MFG. He began the business of Plano Metal Specialties Inc in 1981 which is still in operation today with him active in the business for 37 years. He served his community of Plano as Alderman then Mayor of Plano for a total of 16 years. He served 12 years with the Plano Fire and Ambulance.

He is survived by his loving wife Audrey, Admired Sister Beverly Malkey, Precious Children; Robin (Special friend Bob), Sons; Randy (Chris) & Rick (Azucena) Adored Grandchildren Mike, Dennis, Dan ( Shannon ) Eric ( Amy ) , Alicia ( Jon Tharnstrom ), and Amanda ( Luke Forester ) and 18 precious great grandchildren & 3 special step grandchildren and many wonderful nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death in death by his parents Lucille and Arnold Whitecotton, mother and father in- law Blanche & Frank Pauline; brother Bill (Lynn), Robert, Jack and Dick. Sisters; Roberta, Shirley (Bill) Roach, Mary Gerard and Sue (Alex) Nagy.

Funeral services will be held Saturday October 27, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at the Our Saviors Lutheran Church Pratt Rd and W. Sandwich Rd. with Rev. David Kaul officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. till the time of service at the church. Military Honors will be provided at the church by Plano American Legion.
