Patricia A. Keenan

Patricia A. Keenan, 89, of Sandwich, IL, formerly of Plano, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2025, at Pavilion on Main in Sandwich, IL surrounded by loved ones.

Born on March 14, 1936 in Aurora, IL, Patricia was the daughter of Regina and Henry Martin. She attended East Aurora High School and spent many years working at CTS Knights in Sandwich, IL.

A dedicated and active member of the Women of the Moose (WOTM) in Sandwich, she volunteered in the kitchen for eight years, always happy to lend a helping hand. In her free time, Patricia found joy in the simple pleasures of life – she officially loved walking and biking, spending time outdoors, and staying active.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Russell Keenan Sr.; Her parents, Regina and Henry Martin; Her stepson, Douglas Keenan; And her grandson, Matthew McNanna.

Patricia is survived by her sons Gary (Chris) McNanna of Millbrook, Mark McNanna of Sycamore, and Mike McNanna of Florida; Her stepdaughter Susan (Vince) Olson of Sandwich, IL; And her stepson Roger Keenan of Sandwich, IL.

She was a proud and loving grandmother to Ryan, Lauren, Melissa, Mitch, Zachary, Meaghan, Jessica, Jennifer, Julie, Lindsey, Kali, and Erin. She was also blessed with fifteen great grandchildren.

Patricia will be remembered for her warm heart, generous spirit, and the strength and resilience she carried throughout her life. Her love of family and dedication to her work will not be forgotten. Her memory lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025 from 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. at Beverage Family Funeral Home, 104 Terry St. Sandwich, IL 60548. Memorial service will begin at 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home with a graveside service to follow out to Oak Ridge Cemetery in Sandwich, IL.
