Our loss was heavens gain. Nathaniel James Christensen, son of Sherry (Neitzer) Christensen and of the late Tim Christensen. Nate was born February 20, 1985 and suddenly lost his life on April 24, 2020.
Nate was a high school graduate from Sandwich and owner of Cascade Seamless Gutters. While in school, he loved to wrestle. He took many 1st place awards, while excelling in academic achievements.
Before Nate became owner of Cascade Seamless Gutters, he worked with his father as a partner with both Christensen Carpentry and Cascade Gutters.
Nates passion in life was to go dirt bike riding and play frisbee golf, with his dad. His free spirit gave him a love for the outdoors, camping, music, going to the beach and his family and friends.
The day Nate died, a part of us died along with him. We will miss him every day for the rest of our lives.
He is survived by his daughter Kayla Lynn; His mother, Sherry; His sister, Nicole (Glen) Fuller; A nephew, Myles; A niece, Melody; As well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He will be missed by all.
Due to COVID-19, a celebration of life will happen at a later time. Cremation rites were accorded with Beverage Family Funeral Homes.
In lieu of flowers, family is requesting donations to Harvest Chapel Church, 725 South County Line Rd. Sandwich, IL 60548.
