Naoma White

Naoma White, 96, of Sandwich, IL passed away on February 11, 2019. Naoma was born on November 10, 1922 in Mac Taylor County, Kentucky to Edmon and Ida Lena (Sprowles) Hedgespeth. She married her late husband, Clifford White, on January 20, 1944 at the Federated Church in Sandwich, IL. She was a life long member of the Sandwich Federated Church. She loved cooking, sewing, reading and making various crafts. Cliff and her loved going to the lake house down in Arkansas with their family.

Naoma is survived by 3 children, Pamela (Joe) Hott, Joanna Bark and Melinda (Jack) Neumann; as well as 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clifford (2014); 1 son, Charles White; and 1 son-in-law, Don Bark.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Open Door, 405 Wells St. Sandwich, IL 60548, in honor of Tyler Bark.

Visitation will be held Saturday, February 16, 2019 from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M. at the Beverage Family Funeral Home, 104 Terry St. Sandwich, IL 60548, with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 A.M. Committal service will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Sandwich, IL. Pastor DeWitt will officiate. Services were entrusted to Beverage Family Funeral Home. www.beveragefamilyfh.com
