Myrna Ann Skopek

Myrna Ann Skopek, 84, of Sandwich, IL passed away on December 27, 2025. Myrna was born on January 27, 1941 in Minneapolis, MN to Lawrence and Mary (Parkinson) Karstad. 

Myrna enjoyed quilting as a hobby. She was also a long time employee of the Sandwich Fair and she was a member of the Lake Holiday Ladies' Club.

Myrna is survived by her spouse, Stefan; Children, Mike (Heather) Skopek of South Elgin, IL and Rick (Amy) Skopek of Elgin, IL; As well as 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. 

She is preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial visitation will be held from 2:00 - 7:00 P.M. on Sunday, January 11th, 2026 at Beverage Family Funeral Home, 104 Terry St. Sandwich, IL 60548. A memorial service will follow immediately at 7:00 P.M.. A burial will take place out to Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery at a later date.
