Mary Catherine Olson

Mary Catherine Olson, 73, of Sandwich, IL passed away on October 8, 2019. Mary was born February 5, 1946 in Plainfield, Illinois to Roy Eleanor (Fairweather) Hyte. She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Plano, IL. She worked at Plano Molding and CTS Knights.

Mary is survived by 3 children, Robert (Shirley) Olson of Channahon, IL, Rebecca (Chuck Piggott) Olson of Sheridan, IL and Matthew David Olson of Sandwich, IL; 1 brother, Virgil (Jane) Hyte of Plano, IL; 4 sisters, Ruth (Ron) Anthenat of Plano, IL, Nancy Hyte of Tennessee, Dorella (Louie) Wilson of Plano, IL and Cora Hughes of Plano, IL; 5 grandchildren, Jake Merchant, Bobby Olson, Ben Olson, Brad Olson and Katie Olson; as well as 7 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert; 1 brother, Roger Hyte; and 2 granddaughters, Kimberly and Kristina Olson.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. on Saturday October 12, 2019 at Beverage Family Funeral Home, 104 Terry Street Sandwich, IL 60548. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 P.M. with pastor Jonathan Black officiating. Graveside services to follow at Millington-Newark Cemetery.
