Maria Guadalupe Torres

Maria G Torres, 96, of Morris, IL formerly of Aurora, IL passed away on June 15, 2019 at Regency Care Center in Morris. She was born on May 14, 1923 in San Benito, TX to the late Jose and Irene Torres. She enjoyed watching wrestling and what she enjoyed the most was spending time with her loving family.

She is survived by her son Gilbert (Celia) Gonzales, sister Dolores (Torres) Garcia, 10 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Juan, Enrique and Jose Torres

Funeral services will be held June 19, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Beverage Family Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Lombardo officiating, interment to follow at Millington-Newark Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the service.
