Manley (Bud) Olson

Bud Olson, 87, of Sandwich, IL passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024 at the Pavilion on Main in Sandwich with family by his side.

A family graveside service will be held at a later date. Burial will be at Harding Cemetery. Cremation rites have been entrusted to Beverage Family Funeral Home in Sandwich, IL.

Bud was born on December 9, 1936 in Geneva, IL to Manley and Mildred Olson. He married Mary Hall in 1958. He was in the construction business all his life. He was a very avid Cubs supporter.

Bud is survived by his wife, Mary Olson; His children, Pam (Mike) Twait, Debbie (Marty) Brown, Jim (Jean) Olson; His grandchildren, Heather (Bryan) Metzger, Laura (Chris) Condon, Brandon (Shani) Brown, Nathan (Jeanette) Fruit, Jacob Fruit and Kristen Wesley; Great grandchildren, Colby, Cowen, Henley and Conley Metzger, Waylon and Delaney Condon, Chloe and Veronica Brown, Trenton, Easton and Colton Fruit and Shane and Zane Fruit; Sisters, Bonnie (Jim) Bernhardt and Shirley (Joe) Ryan; As well as a brother, John White.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, Donna (Chuck) Johnson, Judy (Ernie) Christian and Jeanie (Ron) Rogers; As well as a daughter, Roberta Olson.
