Lorine (Lori) K. Black

Lorine K. Black, 55, of Yorkville, IL passed away on November 27, 2022. Lorine (Lori) was born on November 13, 1967 in Chicago, IL to Robert and Linda (Findlay) Olson.

Lori was very caring and a good listener, she was very artsy and liked to craft, as well as faith filled, strong willed, and humble. She liked trying new things and enjoyed running when she was able to. She also enjoyed baking and cooking. Most of all, she enjoyed being a mom.

Lori is survived by her parents; Her spouse, Jonathan Black (married 11/23/01); 4 children, Kalyn Murre of Yorkville, IL, Melissa Murre of Carthage, TX, Abigail Black of Yorkville, IL and Elianna Black of Yorkville, IL; 1 grandchild, Sofi; 1 brother and sister-in-law, Randy and Mollie Olson; Her dog, Duke and Granddog, Georgie; As well as several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be directed to First Lutheran Church in Plano, IL.

Memorial visitation will be held on Monday, December 12, 2022 from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the First Lutheran Church, 200 North Center Street, Plano, IL 60545. Memorial service will take place next day, Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 10:30 A.M. at the church. Burial will take place at a later date.
