Kathleen Carolyn Pitzer-KennedyJuly 3rd 1931-April 7th 2018Born a farm girl in Iowa, she left the picturesque hills for the city lights of Aurora, IL. There she met Edwin Kennedy and on July 3rd, 1954 they wed and had three surviving children.Always an independent woman, Kathleen was a sister, mother, daughter and wife with a witty sense of humor and a wild creative side. As a professional ceramicist, painter, quilter, crafter, sketch artist, avid gnome collector and Santa enthusiast, she peppered everyone with her gifts, humor and creativity.Survived by: Edwin Kennedy of Yorkville, Children: Tim (Char) Kennedy of Wisconsin, Tamara Kennedy-Morris (Mike) of Sandwich, and Tina Kennedy of California. Grandchildren: April Morris (Ethan), Tyler Kennedy, Saede Lussier (Shawn), Serenity Bianco (Richard), Tegan Kennedy, Edwin Morris (Corey), Clancy Jones (Max). Great Grandchildren: Jackson & Ryker Lussier, Emma Bianco. Extended family: Barb Reeves, Pat Sweeney, Jennifer Harris.
