Karen L. Walz

Karen L. Walz, 71, of Sandwich, IL passed away on June 7, 2024. Karen was born on August 26, 1952 in Aurora, IL to William and Betty (Schaak) Rauch. Karen was happily married to Michael Walz until his passing in 2022.

Karen worked as a truck driver and a waitress. She enjoyed going to flea markets, auctions and playing bingo. She also loved spending time with family.

Karen is survived by her children, Dianne (Mike) James of Elkhorn, WI and Laura (Todd) Jones of Leland, IL; Grandchildren, Bradley (Kayleigh) Jones, Ashley (Tommy) Helm, Daniel (Brittney) James, Benjamin (Amanda) James, Emily (Austin) Lemahieu and Margaret James; 2 great grandchildren, twins Eve and Emery; 1 brother, Rick (Cara) Rausch of Big Rock, IL; As well as 1 sister, Kathy Dabbs of Missouri.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Her husband, Mike Walz; And a grandchild, Taylor Louise.
