Junior Wallace Franklin

Junior Wallace Franklin, 83, of Sandwich, IL passed away on November 7, 2021. J. Wallace was born on September 27, 1938 in Russell Springs, KY to Wallace and Bertha Franklin. He grew up in Naperville and graduated from Naperville Community High School, 1956. He worked at Morgan Services, Inc. for 31 years and retired in 1996.

He enjoyed watching the Cubs, Bears, Blackhawks, Green Bay Packers, and Nascar races. He also liked to take occasional trips to casinos to play slots. But most of all he loved spending time with his family.

J. Wallace was preceded in death by his parents; Adoptive parents, Rollin and Irene Franklin; 4 brothers, Lenard, Veston, Ralph and Robert; As well as 3 sisters, Dorothy, Virginia and Betty.

He is survived by 1 son, Bruce (Marilyn) Franklin of Crystal Lake, IL; His beloved step-grandchildren, Joleanna, Logan, and Katelyn; Great grandchildren, Lola, Grady, Kaidience, Ryker, Cameille, Jayce, Roselina and Aimsley; As well as many friends and relatives.

Memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, November 14, 2021 from 2:00 – 3:00 P.M. at Beverage Family Funeral Home, 104 Terry Street Sandwich, IL 60548. Memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M.
