Joyce E. Miedema

Joyce E. Miedema, 82, of Sandwich, IL passed away on June 5, 2025. Joyce was born on November 30, 1942 in Lincoln, NE to Merlin and Velma (Smith) Sipp. Joyce was married to James D. Miedema.

Joyce worked for CTS Knights and Miller Foods in Somonauk. She enjoyed gardening, caring for her home and going to thrift stores.

Joyce is survived by her husband, James; 4 children, Daniel Miedema of Dekalb, IL, David Miedema of Miami, FL, Debbie (Jerry) Fredricks of Robinson, KS and James (Jill) Miedema of Bolingbrook, IL; 2 grandchildren, Mitch and Tawney; And 1 brother, Randy Sipp.

She is preceded in death by her parents.
