Jody Alan Hart

Jody A. Hart, 61, of Ottawa, IL passed away on May 14, 2026. Jody was born on September 9, 1964 in Aurora, IL to John and Carol (Gilbert) Hart Sr.

Jody had worked at Dan's Repair Shop in Somonauk and at Yingling's in Sandwich. Jody loved his animals, especially his dogs.

Jody is survived by his brother, John (Carrie) Hart of Beulah, ND, and a sister, June Morris of Sandwich, IL.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Jean Cook.

Jody became a diabetic at a young age and became blind from it in his 30's. He grew up in Big Rock and Somonauk, graduating in 1983. After moving with his parents to Missouri for a short time, they moved to Earlville. He went on to move to Pleasantview in 2021. The workers became his family. His family would like to extend a heart felt thank you for spoiling Jody during his five years there.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on June 13, 2026 at Precinct Cemetery in Earlville, IL. Memorials may be made to the family. Arrangements were entrusted to Beverage Family Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at www.beveragefamilyfh.com
