Jeanine C. Benters

Jeanine C. Benters, age 95, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at her home in Sandwich, IL. Born on January 3, 1931, in Chicago to John and Caroline (Botwinski) Voytek, she was later married to Thomas W. Benters Sr. until his passing in 1998.

Jeanine lived a vibrant life; in her younger years, she was an accomplished roller derby player and award-winning skate dancer. Professionally, she served as a Training Coordinator for Pampered Chef founder Doris Christopher and managed several properties in the Chicago area. A devout Catholic, she was an active member of Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church in Somonauk, IL.

She is survived by her son, Thomas W. Benters Jr.; her grandson, Christopher Benters; and her granddaughter, Theresa (Ryan) Faulkner and their children, Taten and Tassara.

In accordance with Jeanine’s wishes, no services will be held.
