James (Jim) Vernon Moore

James (Jim) V. Moore, age 73, of Rochelle, IL. passed away on July 11^th 2019 at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center Rockford, IL. He was born on August 24^th 1945 in Morristown, TN to the late Albert and Leona (Lampkin) Moore. Jim was a truck driver and served his country with the US. Navy. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and most of all loved and enjoyed his grandchildren. Jim married his sweetheart, Patricia Parker, on November 18^th1972 in Sycamore, IL.

He is survived by his wife Pat, Sons; Jimmy Ray Moore and Joseph (Sandra Torres) Moore all of Rochelle, 3 sisters; Dorothy (JC) Dearing, Jean (Mike) Spangler and Joyce (Al) Price-West. And his precious grandchildren, Noah and Issac.

Memorial service and visitation will be held Friday, July 19^th2019 at The Church of God, 222 First Avenue, Rochelle, IL. With Rev. John J. Rogers officiating. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. with the service being at 7:00 p.m.
