Iris Ann Greif

Iris Ann Greif, 79, of Sandwich, IL passed away December 24^th 2018 at Hillside Health and Rehab, Yorkville, IL. She was born in Sandwich on June 25^th 1939 to the late Martin and Gertrude (Eastman) Otto.

Iris was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church Sandwich. She was a police Dispatcher for the City of Sandwich going on to working for Doctors Grime and Carey then finishing her career off at Illinois Department of Correction in Sheridan, IL. She married her Soulmate Don Greif, oh she loved him so much.

She is survived by her husband Don, Children; Jim (Judy) Fish of Fulton, Debbie S. Johnson, Douglas (Kathy) Greif of Sandwich, Donna Greif, Dale ( Deb ) Greif of Naperville, JoAnn ( Rex ) Rogers of Green Valley, AZ and Janet Clark of Somonauk. 1 brother Jim (Barb) Otto of Sandwich, IL. 6 grandchildren; Daun, Tish, Ashley, Jeff, Ryan and Krystal and 11 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Alyce, brother Eugene and grandson Nelson Pottinger.

Visitation will be Friday December 28^th 2018 from 4-7 p.m. at Our Saviors Lutheran Church on the corner of Pratt Rd and W. Sandwich Rd. Funeral services will be held Saturday 10:30 a.m. at the Church with interment to follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery Sandwich, IL.
