Harold E. Lind

Harold E. Lind, 98, of Hinckley, Illinois, passed away on July 10th, 2019 at Symphony of Orchard Valley in Aurora, IL.

 

He was born December 19, 1920 to the late Anton Anderson Lind and Hulda Victoria Eastman in Evanson, IL.  He is survived by his sons; Thomas (Nancy) Lind of Baraboo, WI and Robert (Julie) Lind of North Aurora, IL; Christine Lind of Hinckley, Il; his precious grandchildren Abigail Lind (Jim Kovac), Anne (Jamie) Whitlock, Ella and Elizabeth Lind; and his cherished great-grandchildren Austin and Emmett Kovac and Christian Whitlock.  He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his beloved wife Elizabeth; as well as siblings Anton, Esther, Carl, George, Dorothy, Evelyn, and Howard.

 

He saw service with the Army Corps of Engineers in Europe during the Second World War.

 

Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 17th, from 4:00PM - 7:00PM at the Beverage Family Funeral Home, 104 Terry Street, Sandwich, IL.

Interment will be 11:00AM Thursday, July 18th, at All Saints Cemetery, 700 N. River Road, Des Plaines, IL.
