Gloria Jean Edwards

Gloria Jean Edwards 71, of Aurora, IL. went to heaven on April 23, 2018. She was born on September 11, 1946 in Bellwood, IL. to James and June Smith.  She was a quality control supervisor at Anfinsen Plastic Molding for 30 years.  She enjoyed reading, puzzles and listening to Elvis Presley music.  She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She overcame a lot of health conditions to be around for her family. She will always be remembered as a brave woman. She is survived by her children Pamela (Russell) Parsons,  James (Angela) Edwards,  Robert (Cheryl) Edwards and Catrina Celaya.  Grandchildren Heather (Paul), Brandon (Bertha), Revekah, Raquel, Hayleigh, Hannah, Nicholas, Jessica, Stacy, Samuel, Esther, Noemi, Adam, Abel, Veronica and Luis.  Great grandchildren Vanessa, Alyssa and Antonio. Her siblings Bonnie (Joseph) Crissafulli and Michael Smith. Her brother in law Gregory Taylor. Also many nieces, nephews and cousins.   She was preceded in death by her parents James and June. Her sisters Marilyn, Mary and Judy. Also her brother and sister in laws Rick and Linda. Celebration of Life Service will be on Sunday May 6, 2018 at 2:00pm at New Hope Baptist Church Aurora, IL.  Pastor Dillon Evans will be officiating.
