Gene William Dombrowski, 70, of Sandwich, IL passed away February 27, 2019 at Northwestern Kishwaukee Hospital DeKalb, IL.
He was born on March 11, 1948 in Grand Rapids, MI. to the late William and Lena (Amante) Dombrowski.
He was a graduate with honors from Waubonsee and Michigan State University. He was a member of St. Mary’s and St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Churches. He enjoyed gardening, reading and his time with his grandson.
He is survived by his wife Phyllis, sons; Alex (Amy) and John Dombrowski, brothers; Joe (Judy) Dombrowski and Marty Dombrowski and his precious grandson, Nicolas.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Douglas.
