Gary Mitchell Coons

Gary Mitchell Coons, age 74, of Rochelle, IL passed away at his home on Wednesday, August 21, 2019.

He was born on April 11, 1945 in Rochelle, IL to Betty (Lepperd) and Harry Coons. Gary is preceded in death by his parents and survived by his wife of 57 years, Patricia (Watson), his daughter Sandra Coons, and his granddaughters Abby (Zack) Martin and Maggie Weber.

Gary Worked as a union laborer for more than 30 years and enjoyed hunting, sailing, fishing, playing guitar and being with his girls.

Gary was a loving husband, father and Papa to his granddaughters. He was so proud of them and their accomplishments.

A private service will be held at a later date in lieu of a visitation.
