Evelyn Amelia Albrect, 100, of Rochelle, IL passed away on January 10, 2019. Evelyn was born on April 21, 1918 in Ashton, IL to Charles and Emma (Ehlbeck) Eich. She owned and operated a clothing store in Ashton and worked on a family farm. She also worked at local restaurants and grocery stores. She took a lot of pride in raising her 3 boys.

Evelyn is survived by her 3 children, Jerry (Maureen) Albrecht of St. Charles, MO, Duane (Jenny) Albrecht of Pawnee, IL and Steen (Bonnie) Albrecht of Ashton, IL; 1 sister, Gertrude Patterson of Elgin, IL; as well as 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her spouse, Marcus; 5 brothers, Harold, Raymond, Willis, Ernest and Leroy; and 4 sisters, Ella, Louise, Leona and Aleta.

Visitation will be held Saturday, January 19, 2019 from 9:00-11:00 A.M. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 803 Paddock Ave, Ashton, IL 61006. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Burial to follow at Ashton Cemetery.
