Dolores Ann Scott

Dolores Ann Scott, 85, of Ashton, IL passed away on February 5, 2021. Dolores was born on December 31, 1935 in Rochelle, IL to Walter and Velma (Smith) Voss. She was a farmer’s wife on the farm with Jacob for 40 years. She did bookkeeping for Consol Builders in Ashton. She also worked for Swift and Klondike. She enjoyed quilting and collecting decorative eggs, ink pens and Longaberger baskets. She was a life member of Reynolds Methodist Church in Ashton and sang in the church choir.

Dolores is survived by her husband, Jacob; 5 children, Lee Dusing of Las Vegas, NV, Curt Dusing of Polo, IL, Kaye (Wade) Ohman of Dixon, IL, Neil Scott of St. Louis, MO and Alicia (Eric) Lebkuecher of West Melbourne, FL; 1 sister, Ellen Baker of Franklin Grove, IL; As well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a daughter-in-law, Marcia Dusing.

Private funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at the Beverage-Lyons Family Funeral Home in Ashton. Burial to follow out to Ashton Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Beverage-Lyons Family Funeral Homes. www.beveragelyonsfamilyfh.com
