Dolores T. Garcia

Dolores T. Garcia of Newark, IL passed away on August 8, 2019 in Morris, Illinois. She was born on December 27, 1929 in San Benito, Texas to Jose and Irene (Gloria) Torres. She loved the Lord and spending time with family, especially cooking for them. She loved flowers and to garden. She was employed by AT&T for many years.

Dolores is survived by 4 daughters, Cris (Larry) Borneman of Leland, Lucy (Mike) Sberno of Huntley, Jane (Glenn) Clausel of Seneca, Gloria (Bill) Hagedorn of Ohio; 1 son, Frank (Shelly) Garcia of Florida; as well as 20 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; 1 sister, Maria Torres; 3 brothers, Juan, Enrique and Jose Torres; 1 daughter, Maria Reyes; 1 grandson, Eric Borneman; and loved one, Lorenzo Limas.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 13, 2019 from 9:00 – 11:00 A.M. at Beverage Family Funeral Home, 104 Terry St. Sandwich, IL 60548. Funeral service will be held same day at 11:00 A.M. Interment to follow at Millington-Newark Cemetery.
