Denise L. Minnick

Denise L. Minnick, 63, of Dekalb, IL passed away on September 25, 2025. Denise was born on November 22, 1961 to Glenn and Esther (Nichols) Hansen.

Denise was a Miami Dolphins fan and also loved all things Disney. She was great at drawing and drew many things. She would also painting pottery, where many people admired the work she did. She and her husband Robert (Bob) also owned their own business called DeeBobbers and they had their own place at the Sandwich Fair for 25 years selling lawn statuary. Denise had also enjoyed raising border collies.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Robert Minnick.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 from 10:00 - 11:00 A.M. at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 340 W. Arnold St. Sandwich, IL 60548. A funeral mass will follow at 11:00 A.M. at the church. A burial will take place at St. Paul's Catholic Cemetery in Sandwich on a later date.
