Debra Ann Peterson

Debra Ann Peterson, 62, of Sandwich, IL passed away on April 19, 2019. She was born on October 16, 1956 in Effingham, IL to Carl and Clara (Wibking) Verdeyen. She enjoyed her game shows like Wheel of Fortune and reality shows. She also had a love for dogs, especially her dog, Daisy.

Debra is survived by 2 children, Ruth (Robert) Weisberg of Aurora, IL and Bradley Peterson of Sandwich, IL; 2 sister, Sandra Erickson of Sandwich, IL and Mary Verdeyen of Plano, IL; 2 brothers, Ronald Verdeyen and Richard Verdeyen; as well as several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Peterson; and 1 brother, Jerry.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 from 10:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. at Beverage Family Funeral Home, 104 Terry St. Sandwich, IL 60548. Funeral service will begin directly afterwards at 1:00 P.M. Burial will follow out to Helmar Cemetery in Newark, IL.
