Darlene Marie Summerfield

Darlene M. Summerfield, 87, of Sheridan, IL passed away on October 20, 2026. Darlene was born on March 9, 1939 in Chicago, IL to James and Bessie (Quam) Dattalo. 

Darlene was an avid reader and enjoyed going out to lunch with her friends on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. She especially loved her family and grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. 

Darlene is survived by 3 children, William (Karol) Summerfield of Montgomery, IL, James (Lahoma) Summerfield of Oregon, and Cathy (Art) Madsen of Sheridan, IL; 3 grandchildren, Michael, Kyle and Morgan (Kevin); 1 brother, Thomas (Carol) Dattalo of Del Ray, FL; A good friend, Dar; A cousin, Gail; And a special niece, Deanna.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, William.
