Danny R. Mullins, 69, of Ashton passed away peacefully on Tuesday October 8, 2019.

He was born September 30, 1950 in Rochelle to Guy and Betty Mullins. He married Kathryn Wagner on July 31, 1971. She preceded him in death on November 22, 2017.

He worked for Del Monte Foods as a truck driver for many years until he “retired” only to resume working soon after driving for T.M. Doyle. If you knew him well you knew he did not know how to stop working.

He enjoyed fishing, tinkering in the garage on many projects, and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his son Christopher (Andrea) Mullins; daughter Candace (Dave) Lawson; grandsons: Benjamin and Dominic Mullins; two sisters: Mary Ellen (Pete) Hardin of Michigan and Sherry Chisum of Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his wife Kathryn and one brother Randy Mullins.

At his request there will not be a service held.
